Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address
As it has been the custom for many years, Lisa Toole read the Gettysburg Address in honor of President Lincoln’s birthday. This custom was started by her late father, Fred Toole, who would have been 100 years old this past September, and was continued for many years by Paul Kirsch. She began with a history of the Battle of Gettysburg and how the Gettysburg Address came to be. We should always remember this significant piece of our history!
Bake Sale!!!
Our resident auctioneer, Mike Rusinko, conducted a lively auction of baked goods provided by our Interactors (and their Moms!) This year’s proceeds will be used to support the Interact International Project, still to be determined. Proceeds are a secret until all is revealed at the next Interact meeting.
Thank you Interactors for all that you do!!
