Induction

We were happy to welcome Ben Kabat into the club.  As his sponsor, Dave Cook pointed out that Ben is originally from Oneonta, NY.  He graduated from Nazareth College with a degree in History and was an exchange student to Germany for one year.

He is currently the Assistant District Manager at the Geneva Social Security Office.  He enjoys soccer, tennis, mountain biking, hiking and loves to travel.

Sue Cirencione,  Stop DWI Administrator for Ontario County  was our speaker today.  Her talk included Traffic Safety which covered

• Distracted driving
• Teen Driving (Heroin Epidemic)
• Keeping Ontario Co. safe with education programs
• Partnering with Boys and Girls Clubs
• Using driving simulators which simulate impairment from alcohol and drugs

Sue’s talk was informative as well as sobering with the fact that 35,092 people were killed in traffic accidents in 2015.
