Tracy Brown, Regional Outreach Director for Breast Cancer Coalition gave a presentation on the purpose of the Breast Cancer Coalition.
• The Breast Cancer Coalition is a community based grass roots organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer through action and advocacy.
• Their mission is to provide support to those touched by a diagnosis of breast cancer, to make access to information and care a priority through education and advocacy, and to empower women and men to participate fully in decisions relating to breast cancer.
• How you can help:
o Tell survivors to call at 585-473-8177
o Get the word out
o Get involved by joining a coalition committee or volunteer at one the regional events.
